Any good healthy recipes for turkey smoked sausage?

I love turkey smoked sausage but am having trouble coming up with ideas of how to serve it or what to serve with it. Does anyone know any tasty but HEALTHY recipes I can use for it?

I take turkey smoke sausage slice it into chunks then take assorted veggies…squash zuchinni onion broccoli really whatever you like…and make a foil pack and bake it in the oven for 30-45 mins on 350….I usually season the veggies with some mrs dash or lemon pepper.

What are some healthy recipes that taste good?

We’re going to start working on eating healthier in the new year, especially focusing on dinner. The problem is we both work and have two young kids, so whatever we cook at night is usually done very quickly. Since "bad" food is usually easier to make, that’s what we tend to gravitate to.

Does anyone have any ideas of any healthy, quick to make recipes for dinner? We do like to make chicken, pork and fish. Not real big red meat eaters. Any advice would be appreciated!

You could always add a side of vegetables to your main dishes.

Or, you said you cook with chicken and pork a lot, you could easily make a chicken or pork stir-fry.

If you don’t want the hassle of chopping up the vegetables you can buy them frozen at your grocery store.

All you would need is about 1/2 pound to a 1pound of chicken, same with the vegetables, and some stir-fry sauce.

Cook the chicken until golden brown, in another pan cook the vegetables, then combine together and add the sauce, heat until warm.

You can also find recipes online, google healthy recipes. Hope this helps.

What are some healthy recipes you enjoy?

I want to start eating better and I have a cooking book but I just wanted to know what’s some healthy foods/recipes you enjoy because I know there’s a lot of gross and good recipes out there :) .

Thanks!

This is a quick & easy favourite and on our menu once a week:

Wholemeal tortillas
Chopped Lettuce
Chopped Tomato
Light sour cream
Low salt baked beans
Burrito spice
Optional:
Grated Carrots
Grated Low fat cheddar
Chopped onion
Jalapeno chillies

Heat beans in microwave and mash up until the sauce has thickened. Throw in the burrito spice. Heat the tortillas and serve for people to make their own burritos. Easy and yum. "Normal" person I’d say would eat 2-3 burritos at a time. If I have extra I make them and put in fridge for work the next day.

any healthy tasty and tried recipes or ideas?

I want some healthy recipes for sancks, food, desserts etc. I dont want recipes with white sugar and white flour if possible. I really need healthy recipes. Thx.

Here is a chicken recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing. Imagine that. When I found it, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell
when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.

BAKED STUFFED CHICKEN
6-7 lb. Chicken
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER’S Low Fat)
Salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the
oven. Listen for the popping sounds. When the chicken’s ass
blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room,
it’s done.

And you thought I couldn’t cook………

What are some good, healthy recipes that are cheap and easy to make?

I’d like to lose weight over this summer and I need some good, healthy recipes for good food that’s low in calories and possibly high in protein (doesn’t matter). I like carbs and meats, but not veggies :)
Any good, healthy recipes that are easy to cook? Thanks for your help!

Take a package of Boneless Skinless Ckn Breast Rinse them.
Pat dry.
Season them w/ what ever you like (I use salt, pepper, garlic pwd, onion pwd, & poultry seasoning)
Set aside
Take I cup of regular long grain rice. Mix w/1 can of fat free cream of mushroom soup & 1 can of water or chicken stock. (I mix the soup & stock 1st then add the rice.) Put in a greased pyrex dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake @350 for 1 hour.
Take it out 1/2 way through & stir.
It is good re-heated also.
