Does any one have good healthy diabetic recipes?

I am trying to find new recipes that I can prepare for my husband and myself. I am a diabetic and I am trying to lose some weight. Does anyone know of anything healthy and tasty?!

There are several diabetic cookbooks available, and many regular recipes can be adapted for diabetics. The American Diabetes Association website has good information on available cookbooks. You might also try looking on line with "diabetic recipes". (Most public libraries have several excellent cookbooks available.)

What are some easy to do diabetic recipes?

I was wondering for a project what some easy recipes for diabetics are?

look at the American Diabetes Association website to get "proper" diabetic recipes.

Mostly they cut out the salt, sugar and fats from anything and everything. They think a serving of 45 grams of carb is good dessert or main dish.

does anyone have diabetic recipes for cupcakes and frostings?

I just got my pancake puff pan, and want to make little cupcake balls with frosting in them. My step dad is diabetic, so I need recipes. I know I could get these online, but I am looking for preferences and recommendations.
Sorry, but I cant decide on a best answer, so I will just have to let you decide.

You can substitute Splenda for equal amounts of sugar in any recipe. Look for Splenda for baking in the baking aisle. They even have a brown sugar version.

Where can I find diabetic recipes?

I have a relative visiting soon who is on a diabetic diet. Does any know of any websites or sources for diabetic recipes? Thanks for your help.

Having had diabetes myself for over forty years, I have found that there really aren’t "diabetic" receipes. Diabetics eat the same food as anyone else, its only that the portions have to be managed. A balanced diet of carbs, proteins, vegs and fruits (The same that is recommended for everyone.) I think you will find that your guest will be happy if you just prepare your normal fare. We can even eat a small serving of regular dessert occaisionly. Hope this helps.
